How the Fathom integration works
When a call is recorded in Fathom, you can send the transcript to your Cycle workspace through Zapier automation. This creates a new feedback entry in Cycle with the formatted transcript and call details, allowing users to extract product insights and further edit the entry as needed. You'll then get a dashboard with trends & patterns across all your call data.
Quick setup
- Connect Fathom to Zapier: In Zapier, create a new Zap and select Fathom as your trigger app (trigger on "New Transcript").
- Format the Data: Add a formatting step in Zapier to convert the plain text transcript into structured HTML for better readability in Cycle.
- Configure Cycle Action: Add Cycle as your action app in Zapier, selecting "Create Feedback" as the action.
- Map Fields & Test: Map the Fathom transcript and metadata to Cycle's feedback fields, then test and activate your Zap.
Import historical data from Fathom to Cycle
Cycle's GraphQL API lets you easily import feedback in bulk. If you're migrating from another feedback tool or would like to create multiple feedback items at once, use the createFeedback mutation.
