Discord and Cycle integration cover

Collect customer feedback from Discord

What is Discord?

Discord enables real-time voice, video, and text communication, fostering collaboration and community building among users.

Why should you connect Discord to Cycle: Key benefits

For product teams:

1. Leverage AI to analyze all Discord data and discover actionable product insights.

2. Dig into product feedback based on customer data and create customer voice reports in no time.

3. Write PRDs with deep empathy and prioritize with confidence.

For sales & CS teams:

1. Effortlessly report call insights and feedback to the product team.

2. Automatically receive updates on the status of each feedback item, all without leaving Discord.

This means you can close the feedback loop every time you ship something, making feedback reporting efficient and actionable.

How the Discord integration works

When a team member uses a specific command or reaction in Discord, feedback is sent directly to Cycle. You can capture entire threads or specific messages. Screenhots and files are captured too. CS & sales team can submit feedback on behalf of customers. Stakeholders will get notified when there's been a product update related to their feedback so they can close the loop with relevant customers.

Quick setup

  1. Create an API Key: In Discord, go to your settings and generate a new API key.
  2. Set Up Webhooks: In Discord, create a new webhook to trigger on ticket creation with specific properties.
  3. Configure in Cycle: In Cycle, go to Integrations, select Discord, and enter your Discord API key and webhook URL.
  4. Test & Activate: Test the integration to ensure it's working correctly, then activate it.

Import historical data from Discord to Cycle

Cycle's graphql API lets you easily import feedback in bulk. If you're migrating from another feedback tool or would like to create multiple feedback items at once, use the createFeedback mutation.
