Product terminology simply explained

Value Vs Complexity

When we talk about value vs complexity in the context of product management, we're comparing the benefits or usefulness of a feature or functionality with the effort or difficulty required to implement it.

Imagine you're deciding whether to add a new feature to your product. You need to consider how much value that feature will bring to your users or business, balanced against the complexity and resources required to develop and maintain it. Sometimes, a feature may have high value but also high complexity, making it challenging to prioritize. It's important to find the right balance between delivering value and managing the complexity of your product.
