Top Down Product Strategy

Top Down Product Strategy is a approach to product management where the direction and goals for a product are set by top-level executives or leaders within an organization. Essentially, it's a "top-down" approach where decisions and strategies are passed down from higher-ups to the product team.

Think of it like a captain steering a ship - they determine the destination and overall route, and the crew follows their lead. In the context of product management, this means that executives or leaders define the product vision, goals, and priorities, and the product team works towards achieving them.
