Product Requirement Document (PRD)

A Product Requirement Document (PRD) is a document that outlines the specifications and features of a product or software application. It serves as a roadmap for the product development team, as well as a communication tool between different stakeholders.

Think of a PRD as a detailed recipe for a dish you want to cook. It lists all the ingredients, step-by-step instructions, and the final outcome you want to achieve. Similarly, a PRD lists all the desired features, user requirements, and technical specifications of a product, helping the team to understand what needs to be built and how it should function.
