Pivot

Pivot is a term used in product management to describe a strategic shift in direction. Just like a basketball player who changes their dribble direction when faced with an obstacle, a product manager may pivot their product when they realize their current approach isn't working. It means making a significant change in the product's features, target market, or business model to adapt to new market conditions or customer feedback. Pivoting requires agility and a willingness to change course, but it can lead to success by finding a better fit between the product and the market.
